Nissan uses their famous 3.5-liter DOCH 24-valve engine in the 2008 Z Roadster. You’re able to produce 306 hp and 268 lb-ft of toque with this machine; the 5-speed automatic transmission includes manual-style control and rev matching for a smoother downshift. A close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission is also available and makes any trek a snap with a 7,500-rpm redline. The lightweight aluminum engine sits further back towards the center of gravity, the positioning of the fuel tank is more forward and you are in the center, giving an exceptional 53/47 weight distribution.
